  •  Download this package on your PC. [Link]
  • ·         Now place this downloaded archive in your phone’s SD Card. Don’t copy it in deep down in any directory.
  • ·         Turn off your phone and re-boot it in recovery mode. You can do it by Holding the Menu Button and then turning ON the device.
  • ·         Once you re-boot your device in recovery mode, choose Install from SD Card option and make sure way to the archive you copied above.
  • ·         Select the archive and let the installation process begins.

      This will take around 5-10 minutes for the update process to get completed. Once the update is completed, re-boot your phone. First re-boot may take little more time.

Note: If your phone is not able to restart properly, please follow the tutorial again.

This tutorial is only for Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 users 

  • Download custom ROM Auro v1 on your PC [Link]
  • Copy this downloaded archive on your SD card. Make sure you don't copy it in any deep directory
  • Now turn on your phone in recovery mode. You can do this by holding down Volume UP key + OK button and turning ON your phone.
  • In recovery mode, select Install from SD Card then Choose zip from SD Card and choose the package you have copied.
  • Let me installing process get completed and when select Go back and choose the option Reboot your system.
  • Restart may take 5minutes or more. 
  • Voila! You have successfully installed custom ROM Auro v1 on your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360.

[How to] Update your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 with stock ROM - Android 2.3.6

If you are looking to update your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 with Android 2.3.6 do follow this guide. In this post I will show you How to Update Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 with DDLC 2 Gingerbread 2.3.6. This is not custom ROM. This is an update for stock ROM users only. You can even update your device from phone menu itself but if you are coming from any custom ROM or would like to update your phone’s software using PC, you can follow this guide.

Note: I’m not responsible for any damage done to your phone. There shouldn’t be any problem if you follow the tutorial properly without any mistake but if still there is any damage done to your phone, neither we nor the developer should be held responsible for this. Proceed at your own risk.

The update about which we are talking is global update. Before proceeding, please backup all your contacts, SMS, data, call log and all other stuff which are important for you. There may be changes of loss or corrupt data after the update. Also make sure the phone battery is at least 70% charged. Always prefer safe side :)

  • Enable USB debugging mode on your phone by following this path - Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging
  • Now turn off your phone and re-boot it in Download Mode. You can do it simply by Holding the Volume Down button + Home key, wile holding both these keys you need to turn ON your phone
  • Download this package and extract it on your PC [Link]
  • Once you enter Download Mode, open the software Odin included in package and plug-in your phone to your PC
  • You will see Yellow Light in Odin which confirms that your phone has been recognized. 
  • Now click on "PDA" and select file named "S5360DDLC2_S5360ODDLA2_S5360DDLC2_HOME.tar.md5" from the package you downloaded. Refer to the image given below.
                                                                        
  •  After that click Start button, this will start process of installing selected ROM on your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360.
Once the update is completed, reboot your phone. To check if the phone has been updated or not, check it from Applications > Settings > About Phone. There you should see DDLC2 2.3.6 Gingerbread. This confirms that your phone has been updated to Android 2.3.6 

Voila! You have successfully updated your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 with Android 2.3.6

Today Huawei launched their world’s first Wi-Fi data card – E355 in India. This dual function data card can act as both data card and portable Wi-Fi hotspot. Wi-Fi hotspot created by Huawei E355 can connect five users at a time.

Huawei E355 has been launched at a market price of Rs. 5499. Modem comes with user friendly interface and stunning feature; it can be powered with variety of USB charges. So you don’t need to plug it into your computer in order to use it.

Now HTC One X users will start receiving Android 4.0.4 update for their device. In this post we will be discussing about the update which is released internationally not the regional or operator based update.

The update was officially announced by HTC itself and according to company’s statement there will be many custom pleasing enhancements and with usual bug fixes for Sense UI and Android. There will be several changes in menu and multitasking button. This update also includes improvements in camera, browser experience and some tweaks for extra stability.
This is what HTC says about the menu button upgrade:
The primary update will include an upgrade to Android version 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), in addition to an improved Sense experience which will: enable the ability to map menu function to the ‘recent app’ key (improving visual presentation in non ICS apps like Facebook)

This update might not be available in all regions but keep checking for OTA update in your HTC One X for some surprise ;)

[How to] Update your HTC Evo 4G LTE with custom ROM Viper 4G

Latest ICS version of Viper 4G have been released for HTC Evo 4G LTE users. But still there is no official news about release of Jellybean 4.1 for HTC Evo 4G LTE. You can still update your phone with custom ROM which will bring ultimate customization for your device.

In this post, we’ll discuss about the features available in this custom ROM and guide on How to Update your HTC Evo 4G LTE with latest ICS  Viper 4G ROM.


Let’s start with features of Viper 4G custom ROM:
·         ROM is purely based on HTC_Sprint_1.22.651.3 RUU
·         Init.d support
·         Pre-installed Busybox
·         RAMdisk tweaks
·         Venom Tweaks
·         SuperSU v0.92 (Chainfire)
·         Deodexed and Zipaligned SDK r20
·         Option to choose between Apex or Nova launcher




 Now it’s time to install Viper 4G custom ROM on your HTC Evo 4G LTE.  But before that, backup all your contacts, messages, notes, call logs, files and other stuff which are important to you. Once you backup all your data, follow the steps given below.

Note: Enable USB debugging on your phone. To do this go to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging. Trick this option and you’re done. Also make sure your battery level is above 50% as low battery can stop the installation process in-between. Only proceed if your device is already rooted.
·        
  •  Download latest ICS custom ROM Viper 4G [Link | Mirror]
  •  Place this downloaded archive in your phone. Make sure you don’t place it deep in any sub-folder.
  • Now turn off your HTC Evo 4G. After turning off your phone, enter into the recovery mode by pressing Volume UP key + OK button with Power Button. When you press all the three button simultaneously phone will boot in Boot loader mode.
  • Once you boot in boot loader mode, select “Recovery” option to enter in recovery mode.
  •  In recovery mode select Wipe data/Factory reset and after that select Wipe Cache partition. In case you have installed any lag fix, please disable it from “Advanced” option.
  •  Now select Install zip from SD Card choose the zip file from your  SD Card. Scroll down and select “ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Package” and “Google Apps package” which you have copied in your SD Card. It takes around 15-20 minutes for process to get completed.
  •  Congrats! You have successfully installed Viper 4G on your HTC Evo 4G LTE.
If your device gets stuck at HTC logo or goes into boot loop mode, turn off your phone and repeat the procedure given above again.
